- Application The joint faces to be bonded must be clean, dry and free from dust, oil, grease, old sealant and any traces of contaminant which may affect adhesion. Surfaces should be degreased with solvent soaked cloth and then wiped with a clean cloth. To remove dust, use oil-free compressed air. When insulating glass is processed by off-line low-radiation coated glass, its side sealing area should be removed first. Priming: To ensure the sealing machine working properly, uniformity test of mixing(butterfly test) for twocomponent silicone sealant is needed before processing each time. To ensure the reliability of mixing ratio, the test of pot life is needed before processing each day.

Product Description
STARSIL SLT 9100 is two-component, 100% silicone sealant, neutral curing specially designed for assembly of insulating glass. The product meets the requirement for insulating glass sealing with high modulus and high strength that not only has the advantages of weather resistance ability, high temperature and low temperature resistance ability, good adhesion property as normal silicone sealant, but also exhibits low permeability rate. Use special two-component sealing machine to carry out construction. After mixing two components in a specified proportion, it cures and forms flexible rubber.
